Hey Summoners! We just deployed a new version of the contract yesterday. The contract improvements were to help us simplify packs, roll out some new features, and re-level prices. In the future, rather than mint promo cards directly, we can mint packs for those promos instead. This will also show how many promo packs there are in circulation since each pack type will be tied to a template.
For this change, we closed all existing pack templates and created 3 new ones:
  • GEN0 Legendary packs - now cost 150 WAX. Max supply 100.
  • GEN0 Rare packs - now cost 120 WAX. Max supply 300.
  • GEN0 Common packs - now cost 80 WAX. Max supply infinite.
  • CELE Special packs - not purchasable. Max supply 100.
The cost to Ascend and Transmogrify has been increased to 2 $DREM – we will keep an eye on this and readjust the Ascend cost if needed. Remember, $DREM is our official token used for in-game rewards and actions. Check out the DREM page on the dApp to purchase $DREM with WAXP and see your balance.
Ascending and Transmogrifying can now only be performed with cards from the same pack name. Example, you can Ascend two GEN0 cards, but you cannot ascend a CELE card with a GEN0 card. This means that you will want to collect at least 2 cards from the same pack name.
To help our Summoners gain some $DREM, you can burn cards for DREM:
Burn for DREM
Go to the card details page for any card you own and you will see the “BURN FOR DREM” button. Burning a card will grant you 1 $DREM. Careful though, this action is irreversible and we will NOT mint you a new card if you burn a rare card.
To help boost some sales, I have personally gone ahead and bought the floor from AtomicHub. I’m still working with the team to figure out the best way to vault these cards to help provide value to our community.
Last, but not least, we are rolling out some experimental features to help us with our story driven game elements. The first of these experiments is our new Tutorial feature – best experienced on desktop. Clicking the Tutorial button at the top of the page will guide you through Dark Emblem – from buying your first pack to Ascending your first Heros.
Thanks Summoners, we hope to have more updates shortly!
