Transactions
When you buy packs, ascend cards, or interact with the Dark Emblem dapp in anyway, you will create a transaction on the WAX blockchain. This documenation will guide you through how to understand these transactions.
Dapp Notifications
When you preform an action like Buying a Pack, the transaction is not instantaneous.
The Dark Emblem dapp will show you a few notifications if the web application is open. You will see pop-up in the bottom right, or you can see all notifications by clicking the bell icon at the top right of the navbar.
There will usually be 3 types of notifications:
- Transaction Pending – Your transaction was created, but has not yet been minded.
- Transaction Completed – Your transaction was mined in a block.
- Transaction Rejected - For whatever reason, your transaction was not mined.
Confirmations
When you mint new cards by buying packs or ascending cards, you may notice that some say "Unconfirmed." This usually means that the transaction is new to the blockchain and we wait about 10-15 blocks to consider a transaction to be confirmed. Once your transaction is 10-15 blocks old it will no longer show the "Unconfirmed" status.
Card Unavailable
Sometimes you may see a message similar to "This card has not been processed yet". Typically the transaction has just been mined and has not yet been processed by our system that generates the card image. Card images are created based on the traits generated by the transaction, so there may be some delay between minting a new card and being able to see the image.
